Tea room is open every day!

Breakfast and Lunch options

Start your day with our delicious cooked breakfast (served from 10 am until 11.30 am). Our lunch options ranging from homemade soup to sandwiches are served daily from 12 pm. All our meals are freshly cooked to order from our own kitchen and we are proud to use produce from local meat and vegetable suppliers wherever possible. 
Please let us know if you have any allergies or intolerances.

No need to book, unless you are a group of 6 people or over.

Tea, coffee and cake

Our regular customers enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea and our cakes, scones and traybakes which are all made in our own kitchen here at The Pot Place. There are gluten-free options and Louise and her team are known for their display of special sweets and their afternoon tea menu.

Relaxing and accessible spaces

The popularity of the Tea room means that we’ve extended from the original Station Master’s House building into a light, bright and relaxing lounge area and, more recently, created the School Room (open Summer months only). We can accommodate more visitors, there’s plenty of room for easy access and we’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs into the School Room too.
